Avocado and Banana Smoothie

Almond milk is dairy-free, and contains calcium and vitamins that are added by the manufacturer. No lactose means that it is easy to digest.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 small ripe Hass avocado, peeled and stoned
1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
10 fl. oz (300 ml) almond milk
2 tsp maple syrup or honey
Zest and juice of 1 lime

Recipe Methods:

1  Place all the ingredients, apart from the lime zest, in a blender and process until smooth.
2  Pour the mixture into two glasses, add a couple of ice cubes, sprinkle over the lime zest, and enjoy.
