Dr Alexandra Garfield is a consultant clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist working both in the NHS and private practice. She currently leads a neuro rehabilitation service, helping people with brain injury and long-term neurological conditions.
She has extensive experience in many areas of health psychology with previous roles in rehabilitation and acute hospitals, specialising in stroke, cancer and those recovering from neurosurgery and orthopaedic injuries. In addition to clinical duties, she has lectured at Imperial College London and supervised clinical psychology trainees. She is committed to ensuring all people with chronic illness and those recovering from injury have access to psychological services as part of their rehabilitation.
